Empowering marginalized communities to learn, live and work with dignity.

Our vision is a world where everyone is able to thrive.

HELP Humans is a Texas based non-political and non-religious 501 (c)(3) organization that works for the upliftment of marginalized communities around the world, especially in conflict areas. We support the education and empowerment of stakeholders in such communities so that they become the key actors in their own development. We believe that is the key to sustainable change.

Our focus on the Kashmir region is a result of our personal experience and resources in the Valley.

Our multidisciplinary team with over 50 years of collective experience takes an investment based approach.

Our Board of Directors takes a venture investment approach by focusing on key socioeconomic micro-levers, data from the ground and lasting grassroots partnerships to build capacity. Such an approach gives the beneficiaries an equity of opportunity akin to the fishing pole versus the fish. As such, the outcomes are expected to be asymmetric and measurable. We believe this approach brings sustainability and allows people to thrive in every way: economic, social, environmental and cultural. The team collectively brings over 50 years of skills, experiences and resources to bear. These range from for profit and non-profit sectors, healthcare, engineering, finance, social sciences, consulting and real estate verticals, arts & sciences disciplines, entrepreneurship & industry tenures as well as multicultural backgrounds familiar with the challenges of executing on the ground internationally.

Our investment approach:

  1. Clear identification of marginalized customer as stated in the Mission Statement

  2. Opportunity has to fall within one of the focus areas in the Vision map of the organization

  3. Identify & target market dislocations and inefficiencies in one of the focus areas due to lack of capital, skill, capacity or access to market

  4. Provide measurable outcomes and feedback loop

  5. Catalyze positive multiplier effect

  6. Lead to follow on opportunities for human capital development

  7. Promote ideas that create a circular and self sustaining economy

The inner lamp blazed

and I saw the brilliant jewel

of my Self”
